The Moon Card
The Moon Card
Pisces
The Significance Contained in the Image
In the Moon card a crayfish emerges from a pool of water. It has to follow the path which goes between two towers, over the hills and passes by a dog and a wolf. The dog and the wolf bay at the Moon and instill fear in the crayfish. How can it overcome its fears and complete its journey? What is causing the fear in the first place?
The Moon is a card signifying the power of imagination, dreams and the thoughts we feed our brain.
If the crayfish focuses on the dangers that lie ahead it will not move. If it shifts it focus it may avoid the danger. Equally important question is - what is causing the fear? Chances are, it comes from the subconscious which the night (the Moon) brings out. As the Sun disappears and hides from view almost everything, our inner visions comes out. They become the only things we see. What kind of feelings, fears, dreams, hopes do they inspire?
